We've been waiting for what seems like forever for Stranger Things' fourth season, with only small nuggets of info to tease us. But now it seems the Netflix show's next season could well be worth the wait, according to one of the show's stars.
Natalia Dyer - aka Nancy Wheeler in the popular TV show - has revealed the upcoming season of the sci-fi hit could be its best yet.
The actress told The Hollywood Reporter she thought that being on an enforced break from production could, in fact, help the writers out when putting the popular show's fourth season together.

Rather than writing later episodes as the first few are already being filmed, Natalia revealed that writers could now take their time with plot details.
She said: "Normally, we get the first few scripts, and then they have to keep writing due to the schedule of it, and it takes a while to craft a script."
"So, normally, there's a kind of 'writing as we're going,' but it seems they've had enough time."

Great news for us viewers then!
Natalia added: "I think it's maybe been a blessing for the writers, in some way, because they had the time to just sit down, think, and create. So, yeah, it appears to be that they've got it all down."
The actress also let slip the next season, which started filming pre pandemic, could actually have nine episodes, rather than the usual eight of the first and third seasons.
When asked about the possibility of there being an extra episode in the upcoming season, Natalia said it "appears to be".

Exciting news!
The show was mid-filming when coronavirus restrictions were put in place and filming was halted.
This meant a hiatus for cast and crew, a few weeks into filming, which Natalia said she found "wild".
She added: "I think we were just maybe a few weeks into filming. I was still kind of getting used to it and finding the flow of it and getting my body used to waking up at whatever hour."

"It's kind of wild to think about because it's something that you look forward to so much, and there's so much preparation and excitement around it, and then, we start and stop. And now, it's been quite a while."
But Natalia added that she'll be happy to go back, when it does finally happen.
"I'm very, very excited for when we do go back. I'm excited by the scripts. I'm excited for everything that this season is going to be."
