Netflix has announced it is bringing us another of Harlan Coben's books as an eight part thriller.
Stay Close, from the creator of Safe and The Stranger, will tell the story three individuals who all face the prospect of events from long ago crashing to the surface and ruining their lives.
Based on the New York Times bestselling novel, it will have an all-star cast, with Cush Jumbo (Vera), James Nesbitt (The Missing) and Richard Armitage (The Hobbit) taking the main roles.

Megan (Jumbo) is a small town mum who has settled down with three kids after a once wild life. She's got a perfect husband and an idyllic family, but something about her life is leaving her unsatisfied.
Meanwhile, Ray (Armitage) was once a talented documentary photographer, but now he's a paparazzi, spending his days snapping wannabe celebs and rich kids.
And Broome (Nesbitt) is a detective who is still addicted to a cold case he couldn't solve many years ago, which centred around a local husband and father who disappeared seventeen years ago.

He's so attached to the case, he honours the anniversary visiting the missing man's home, where his family are still waiting for him to return.
As the story goes on, a friend - Lorraine (Sarah Parish) - from Megan's rocks up, and she brings with her a revelation that could destroy all three of protagonists' lives for good.
But how will they react to the news? And will they tackle the issue head on, or run for the hills?

On the new series, Armitage said: "I can't wait to return to Manchester to work with Nicola, Danny, Harlan and the team again. I love Harlan's style and this plot and character will be brilliantly challenging. At a time when we have remained apart, Stay Close promises to break all the rules."
Coben added: "I am so happy and excited to Stay Close (pun intended) with Danny Brocklehurst, Nicola Shindler and Richard Fee - the same team that made The Stranger, Safe and The Five. And talk about a dream-come-true cast - Cush Jumbo, an incendiary and awesome talent; Jimmy Nesbitt, a legendary actor I always wanted to collaborate with; and wow, Richard Armitage back again!"
We don't yet have a trailer or a release date for the show, but we'll be updating you as soon as we know more.
