You may be thinking: "How is that going to work? Princess Charlotte is only five-years-old?!' Well, the upcoming HBO Max series The Prince is an animated comedy which will focus on seven-year-old Prince George and his coming-of -age as the first-born child of Prince William and Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge.

The show has been created by Gary Janetti, who will be voicing Prince George. The writer made announced on his Instagram account, which inspired the series, with a clip inspired by Halloween.

The all-star cast sees Orlando Bloom as Prince Harry, Condola Rashad as Meghan Markle and Lucy Punch as Kate Middleton.

Alan Cumming will voice George's butler Owen, while Frances de la Tour is Queen Elizabeth and Iwan Rheon plays Prince William.

With Netflix's The Crown becoming one of the most successful series for the streamer, it is no surprise more shows inspired by the royal family would follow. Based on the first teaser for The Prince, there's no doubt that this show will be a far less serious affair.

Last week, Netflix dropped the first full length trailer for The Crown season four. The trailer, which dropped a few weeks ahead of the 15th November premiere date, gives us another look at Emma Corrin (who plays Princess Diana in Season 4), with viewers getting a glimpse of the princess' breath-taking outfits.

Season four of the royal drama will be the last for the current cast, which also includes Tobias Menzies as Prince Philip and Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret.

Fans will also be introduced to Gillian Anderson's portrayal of Margaret Thatcher, with tensions arising between her and the Queen. Netflix explains things "only grow worse as Thatcher leads the country into the Falklands War, generating conflict within the Commonwealth."

There's currently no air date for The Prince, but we can't wait to see it.
