A remake of She's All That is in the works - but there's a major twist that's left fans of the 1999 classic divided.
Addison Rae, a TikTok star who built up a loyal following thanks to her dance routines, has been cast in the movie, and lovers of the original rom com aren't sure how to feel.
Directed by Robert Iscove, the 90s teen flick starred Freddie Prinze Jr. and Rachel Leigh Cook.

Not only did it have Leigh Nash's famed Kiss Me as its theme song, it also gave us that iconic glasses scene, which taught us all the dubious lesson that if a girl takes off her specs and lets down her hair, she's instantly smokin' hot.
Needless to say, the moment went down in the teen movie history books.
Variety report that the rebooted film, titled He's All That, swaps the gender roles in the film, with Addison stepping into Freddie Prinze Jr.'s shoes to play a popular kid who makes over an outcast.

Excitingly, Mark Waters - who directed Mean Girls and Freaky Friday - will be behind the camera directing the rebooted flick.
And in the writing room, the original writer of She's All That is working on the remake, so we're hoping for plenty of nods to the original.
Addison shared the news with her 27.5 million Insta followers, writing: "AHHHHH!!! My dreams are coming true!!!

"I'm so grateful for the opportunities that have been presented to me and none of it would have ever happened without every single one of you."
Twitter users were divided over the news, with many questioning why the movie was being remade to begin with.

"They're remaking she's all that? With tik tokers? F*** off I'm going back to bed," commented a third.
But others flocked to social media to voice their approval.
