Sex Education fans, listen up - season 3 is on its way, and is expected to drop on Netflix very soon.

Otis, Eric and Maeve are back with a brand new look this season, which will return with eight brand new episodes from 17th September.

We can't wait!

The synopsis reveals that it's all changed for the gang over at Moordale: "It's a new year, Otis is having casual sex, Eric and Adam are official, and Jean has a baby on the way," the plot teases. "Meanwhile, new headteacher Hope (played by Jemima Kirke) tries to return Moordale to a pillar of excellence, Aimee discovers feminism, Jackson gets a crush and a lost voicemail still looms."

And here, we've got a sneaky first look at what to expect for season three - the Moordale teens are now wearing school uniforms - likely implemented by their fearsome new headmistress.

Other new cast include Jason Isaacs playing Peter Groff, Mr Groff's more successful and not very modest older brother; recording artist and songwriter, Dua Saleh who joins in their acting debut, playing Cal, a non-binary student at Moordale; and Indra Ové who plays Elsie's foster mum Anna.

The show, which stars Asa Butterfield as Otis and Gillian Anderson as his sex therapist mother, Jean, has been a huge success since the first season dropped on Netflix in 2019.

Netflix reported the first season had over 40 million streams upon the first month of its release.

While plot details around the new season are still to be confirmed, the second series ended with Otis and Maeve in a bad place.

The pair, who are destined to be together but have been repeatedly torn apart by other love interests and mistakes, looked set to confirm their feelings to one another.

Otis realises the error of his ways and leaves Maeve a long, apologetic Voicemail where he apologised and admitted how he really felt.

However, Isaac, who also has feelings for Maeve, deletes the Voicemail without Maeve's knowledge - leaving her none the wiser/
