Netflix set pulses racing with its controversial erotic drama 365 Days, and now one the film's co-director's has been attached to another saucy project.

Barbara Bialowas has reportedly signed up to direct Vanessa Fewing's The Enthrall Sessions series, the USA Today bestselling novel that takes the reader on a deep dive into Enthrall, the most exclusive BDSM club in Los Angeles.

The story follows 21-year-old Mia, who becomes a secretary for Enthrall's assistant director Richard Booth. While Richard introduces Mia into the world of BDSM, with things quickly turning sexual between the pair, Mia then falls for Enthrall's director Cameron Cole - a doctor who treats patients with a unique brand of Jungian, sexual methods.

The three soon become tangled in a dangerous but irresistible love triangle.

It sounds as if it could give Fifty Shades of Grey a run for its money!

Writer Vanessa said of Barbara's involvement: "I couldn't be more thrilled to have Barbara Bialowas as the director for Enthrall.

"She's shared with me her vision for the film, and I know fans of the series will be blown away."

Barbara is equally enthralled by the novel, describing the series as "fascinating and powerful."

Elsewhere, 365 Days was a huge success when it dropped on multiple territories on Netflix earlier this summer. The "erotic drama", originally released in Poland, followed a young Polish woman imprisoned by a Sicilian gangster who gives her one year to fall in love with him.

The film became infamous for its numerous and intense sex scenes, but also drew significant criticism for its depictions of imprisonment and sex crimes.

A petition to remove it from Netflix received close to 90,000 signatures, though the streamer declined to take it down.

The series is set to receive a sequel, although its release date is yet to be confirmed.
