'Selling Sunset' Cast Explain What *Really* Happened In That Season 3 Finale

It was explosive to say the least!

If you're a Selling Sunset fan, you probably spent the weekend binge-watching all eight episodes of the very dramatic third season.

There was one episode in particular that caused a whole host of drama - the finale - in which Chrishell Stause stormed out of Christine Quinn's wedding.

But apparently viewers didn't see the full story - in fact, according to certain cast members, both Mary Fitzgerald and Amanza Smith stood up for Chrishell before she left.

Mary revealed what went down to Refinery29. She said: "I just felt really bad for her. I was trying to protect her and make sure no one else was coming at her. I just knew what she was going through and wanted to protect and comfort her as much as possible."

Meanwhile, Amanza said her and Mary stormed off, adding: "And if you notice, I don't say anything. I literally sit there. Somebody asked me yesterday in an interview, they're like, 'That's like the quietest you've ever been'... In that moment, because I was so in disbelief of the conversation even happening."

It all kicked off when the agents got into a conversation about Chrishell's separation. Chrishell had recently revealed her husband Justin Hartley was filing for divorce and despite her grief, wanted to be there for Christine on her wedding day.

So she plucked up the courage to go, even though attending a wedding when you're going through a painful divorce is no easy task.

After the ceremony, the team are sitting outside discussing an interview Heather had given in which a reporter had asked her about Chrishell and Justin's split.

The group has agreed not to discuss what was happening publicly, and it seems Heather had been caught off guard. She apologised to Chrishell and the conversation moved on.

However, it was comments from Davina - who started talking about every story having two sides - that seemed to tip Chrishell over the edge.

"I'm not backing anyone up here but I'm just saying everyone has their own side, in every situation right? We don't know any detail," Said Davina.

"She is our family, she is our friend, so it's her side," says Mary in response, who is obviously growing increasingly irritated by Davina's comments.

"We don't know any details. Literally I know zero, I know nothing," continued Davina.

"Chrishell, to be fair, obviously Justin has his own side, right? You don't get married to get divorced, you know? You know that, right?"

Romain Bonnet, Mary's husband, said he believed Davina's comments were inappropriate.

He said: "She didn't know her ex-husband, and then making this comment when Chrishell is supposed to be your friend. The comment wasn't really cool at all. When you think about it, it wasn't crazy, but it was enough to push Chrishell over the edge."

And viewers were equally stunned too, with one writing on Twitter: "My stomach is in knots after seeing the way Davina treated Chrishell. #SellingSunsetS3."

Meanwhile, another wrote: "Davina saying to Chrishell 'you know you don't get married to get divorced.... you know that don't you?' God I was screaming at the TV!"

"I'm still upset..why does Davina think she is owed any information on things going on in Chrishell's life?" Asked another.

We just *knew* this season was going to bring all the drama. If you're yet to see, you can catch up with all three seasons of Selling Sunset on Netflix now. Just don't forget the popcorn...
