'Selling Sunset' Star Jason Oppenheim Says London Is His First Choice For Spin-Off Show

Well this is promising.

Selling Sunset, now in its third season, has been a major hit for both its incredible Los Angeles property porn and unrelenting drama.

It's also impossible to watch it without lowkey reconsidering your career path as a broker, what with the Oppenheim Group ladies serving to make £1 million in commission by basically going for cocktails and waltzing around multi million dollar properties every now and then looking glam.

Anyway, if you've always watched the reality show and wish you were across the pond to hand your CV into Jason and Brett Oppenheim, the owners of the group, you might be in luck.

Jason, co-founder of the company, said he'd consider opening a brokerage in London.

When asked about possible spin-off shows in different cities, Jason told Heart: "In terms of a spin off directly related to Selling Sunset - Selling Miami or Orange County or whatever - I'm open and I would discuss that because I think if I'm going to open up another office anyway, why not have a show about it? But I haven't had definitive conversations about that."

He added: "Internationally, I think London would be the first place, but I'd have to completely restructure your real estate system, which is not an endeavour that I'd want to take on right now."

Woaaaah, imagine that? While viewers would be swapping the Hollywood Hills for likes of Knightsbridge, Chelsea and Notting Hill, we reckon it would still make for great viewing.

However, before you get too excited, Jason did add that he's not a huge fan of the property market system in the capital which is apparently "real-estate brokerage-focused" rather than "real estate agent-focused".

Explaining, he said: "The buyer doesn't work with an agent, they've got to go to different brokerages to find a house and work with different agents in different areas - it makes absolutely no sense."

He added: "I'd not only have to start an office, but I'd have to figure out a way to restructure things, and that's a huge task - and you guys are so entrenched in the way you do things, I'd probably get nowhere.

"That would be an amazing project, but I don't want to pretend that I can go out there and upend the London real estate system."

While this doesn't sound toooo promising, we're still holding on to dreams of becoming the British Christine Quinn.

Too much to ask?
