Selling Sunset is one of the most popular shows on telly right now, but one of its stars - Jason Oppenheim - says he regrets signing up for the Netflix show.

Jason, who is president and founder of The Oppenheim Group, explained he thought it would be more of a real estate show, than a reality series.

As anyone who has watched Selling Sunset will know, the programme - which follows a group of real estate agents working in Los Angeles' luxury and lucrative property market - is filled with drama.

From divorce, to weddings, gossip, competition and bitchiness, it really does have every ingredient of a brilliant reality show.

Speaking to HELLO!, Jason said: "Had I known the show would be this focused on our personal lives I probably wouldn't have signed up for it.

"I wanted it to be all about the nuances of real estate, but I now realise the show I envisaged wouldn't be that popular! I've come to accept the idea that I'm on more of a reality show than a real estate show."

It's reported that Brett is leaving the Oppenheim Group (
Netflix)

But the drama seems to have continued off camera, as this week we told you how Jason's twin brother, Brett Oppenheim (who also stars in the show) has reportedly left the business.

Fellow star Christine Quinn revealed the news, saying Brett had left The Oppenheim Group to start his own brokerage, Oppenheim Real Estate.

Speaking to Glamour about a fourth season, Christine explained: "Brett has left to start his own brokerage.

"The girls are fed up with the favouritism of Mary in the office, we don't know who will move where.

"It may be the battle of the brokerages! I think season four is going to be the juiciest season ever."

One of the many dramas of the show focussed on alleged favouritism towards Mary Fitzgerald, with some of the girls suggesting her previous relationship with Jason was affecting the amount of listings she was given.

While there's currently no news on when Season 4 will begin production, we're hoping it's ASAP - we need to see how this one plays out!
