'Selling Sunset' Star Davina Has Faced Horrific Death Threats Since Season 3 Aired

Selling Sunset star Davina Portratz has been hit with death threats following the release of the show's third season on Netflix.

The most recent instalment of the reality show saw real estate broker Davina clash with Chrishell Stause at Christine Quinn's wedding, as she told her heartbroken colleague that there were "two sides" to her divorce with This Is Us star Justin Hartley.

And while we'll be the first to admit the comment seemed more than a little ill judged, Davina has revealed she's been subjected to sick trolling since the show aired - and some of the messages have been pretty scary.

"I got death threats," she told Metro. "I got pretty scary ones like 'You deserve to get acid thrown in your face, you should cut your veins and should be put in a body bag.

When asked how she was coping with the abuse, Davina says she usually "[doesn't] engage," although sometimes she'll send her haters some "love".

Meanwhile, her boss, Jason Oppenheim, told the publication: "It's concerning there are people out there who hide behind that social media anonymity.

"I don't think these people recognise, or even care, how they're affecting people".

In case you need a recap, the series follows a group of real estate agents working in Los Angeles' luxury and lucrative property market.

There's Mary, Christine, Chrishell, Maya, Heather and Davina - and of course, like any good reality show, there's heaps of drama as the team navigate work alongside their personal lives.

In season 3, Chrishell's divorce takes centre stage, and it appears to have knocked her for six as much as everybody else.

In the series, the real estate broker alleges that Justin revealed he was divorcing her via text message, and we see her emotional turmoil play out in real time.

"The crazy way in which this went down, people want answers. I want answers," she says.

But not everybody is team Chrishell, as Christine and Davina are seen discussing their fondness for Justin, and explaining that there are "two sides to every story".

And you can imagine how that went down when Davina announced it at Christine's wedding...

Whatever you think of Davina, death threats are just a step too far. Come on guys, it's a TV show, after all!
