Sansa's Hairstyle In New ‘Game Of Thrones’ Trailer Could Give A Massive Clue About Her Fate
Fans are speculating that Sansa's hair in the latest Game of Thrones trailer could give us a crucial clue about her fate in the upcoming, final season.
In the advert, which has racked up 16 million views in three days, Sophie Turner's character can be seen sporting an elaborate braid at the back of her head, which bears a striking similarity to Daenerys Targaryen's usual hairstyle.
"Parallels," one fan tweeted simply, alongside a side-by-side view of the hairstyles.

Other fans pointed to earlier examples of Sansa adopting the hairstyles of the powerful women around her.

And we know from earlier interviews with Sophie Turner, 22, that Sansa's hair is very, very important.
"There's always a pattern," Sophie Turner told Refinery29 earlier. "It's never random."
"Sansa's hair is constantly reflecting the people she's learning from, or mimicking, or inspired by at the time," Turner explained. "When she's Cersei's prisoner, and she's kind of absorbing all her manipulative techniques, it's reflected in her hairstyle, and when she's finding the spirit of Margaery in herself, she wears her hair like Margaery."
So what could this similarity to Daenerys' hair mean for Sansa's fate next season?
Well, it's possible that Sansa, who appeared to give the Targaryen queen a frosty reception in one teaser trailer, will form a close alliance with Daenerys. In another trailer, Sansa was seen welcoming Dany into Winterfell and even appeared to swear loyalty to her. "Winterfell is yours, your Grace," Sansa is seen saying to Daenerys.
Throughout the show's history, Sansa has proven herself to be a canny survivor, an intelligent diplomat and a capable leader of the North, so we're sure an alliance between her and the Dragon-riding Daenerys could come in very handy for both.
Game of Thrones returns on Sunday, 14th April, 2019.
