First Look At Final Season Of Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina

Forget Christmas, it's spooky season over on Netflix in the new year.

The streaming service has unveiled the first look at the final season of the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

The fourth season of the creepy thriller is set to the the show's last, with the trailer showing Sabrina Spellman (Kiernan Shipka) celebrating her birthday - before being faced with The Void, and a potential apocalypse.

You know, the usual teenage angst.

The last series will drop on Netflix on December 31st - making for perfect New Year's Eve bingeing.

So what can we expect to happen in the very final season of the witchy show?

According to Netflix, this is what we can expect to go down.

"The Eldritch Terrors descend upon Greendale [and] the coven must fight each terrifying threat one-by-one (The Weird, The Returned, The Darkness to name a few), all leading up to... The Void, which is the End of All Things," the synopsis reads.

"As the witches wage war, with the help of The Fright Club, Nick begins to slowly earn his way back into Sabrina's heart, but will it be too late?"

While season four sounds intriguing, we can expect any particular loose ends that may have been left hanging since the show's inception in 2018 to be neatly tied up ahead of the finale.

Speaking about the series drawing to a close, showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa explained: "Working on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has been an incredible honour from day one.

"The cast, beginning with Kiernan as everyone's favourite teen witch, has been an absolute joy. I am beyond thankful to the crew, writers, editors, assistants, and everyone for pouring so much love into this dark dream of a show.

"I'm also grateful to our partners at Netflix, Warner Bros., Berlanti Television and Archie Comics for letting us tell the story we wanted to tell, the way we wanted to tell it. We can't wait for everyone to see part four."
