Kitty girls, get ready, because the 12th season of RuPaul's Drag Race really looks like it's going to make herstory.

We've already had a sneak peak of our brand new queens, but now we've finally got a glimpse of the 90-minute premiere episode - and it's giving us LIFE.

In a short trailer, Aiden Zhane, Brita, Crystal Methyd, Dahlia Sin, Gigi Goode, Heidi In Closet, Jackie Cox, Jaida Essence Hall, Jan, Nicky Doll, Rock M Sakura, Sherry Pie, and Widow Von'Du are seen competing for the first time.

But their debut is very brief, as it's guest judge Nicki Minaj who takes centre stage, sashaying onto that infamous runway and pledging her allegiance "to the drag". Yaaas.

In the clip, Ru can be heard bellowing: "Young Money in the house," as Nicki appears, wearing a dazzling red semi-see-through gown, with bright red locks to match.

(Cut to the new Drag Race queens absolutely losing it backstage as they learn she's coming on the show...)

Making herself right at home on the panel, Nicki can later be seen giving critique to one contestant, telling them: "You look like a Barbie out of the box."

But who is she talking to? We're yet to find out who will impress the judges and who could land themselves at risk of lipsyncing for their lives.

Sharing the first look trailer on her Twitter, Superbass rapper Nicki, 37, wrote that it had been "a dream of [hers] for so long" to appear on the show.

Expectations for this season are running high. The dramatic finale of Season 11 was full of golden moments.

Michelle Visage is back on the panel too (

The very deserving Yvie Oddly was crowned winner after a tough battle with Canadian beauty Brooke Lynn Hytes, Nina West was crowned as Miss Congeniality and we said an emotional goodbye to Michelle Visage's breast implants (#BreastInPeace).

We have no doubt that Season 12 is going to be fierce.

RuPaul's Drag Race Season 12 will arrive weekly on Netlix in the UK from 29th February and on VH1 over in the US.
