'Richard & Judy: Keep Reading' Will See Hosting Duo Make Big TV Return On Channel 4
Fans of the Richard & Judy chat show back in the day will no doubt remember their Book Club segment -and this new show appears to be somewhat of an extension of this.
The new commission - which will air next month from the couple's own home - will see the former This Morning hosts discussing their favourite books, and (virtually) interviewing authors and celebrity guests about their recent reads.
It will comprise of five half-hour episodes which are to air over the course of a week, starting from the 4th May.
Speaking about the exciting new show, Richard said: "It is no secret that Judy and I are avid readers and we are excited to return to Channel 4 to share what we love with viewers."
Meanwhile, Judy added: "Books can transport you to incredible places from the comfort of your sofa and so there is no better time to share our top picks for lockdown reads and hear from viewers, celebrities and authors about the books that have helped them whilst staying at home."
The signing marks the pair's first TV show on the channel for over a decade, since their chat show left screens all the way back in 2009.

Ian Katz, director of programmes at Channel 4, went on to describe Richard and Judy as "much loved Channel 4 faces and the country's most trusted arbiters of what's worth reading.
"[They are] the perfect duo to get us through the remainder of lockdown with the help of a few good books," he said.
The pair hosted ITV's This Morning from 1998 to 2001, before Holly and Phil took up the mantle.
They then went on to present Richard & Judy on Channel 4 until 2009.
Since then, Richard has made the headlines as a regular panelist on Good Morning Britain, and he also had a brief stint on The Circle.
We're so excited to see the pair fronting a series again! Better get those reading glasses at the ready...
