Guys, some good news at last. Reese Witherspoon's drama, Little Fires Everywhere has just dropped on Hulu.

Let's face it, we need all the telly we can get right now, so this is very much a welcome addition.

The new drama, which has a similar vibe to Reese's previous drama Big Little Lies, is an adaptation the 2017 novel by Celeste Ng of the same name and stars Kerri Washington alongside Reese.

It's set in Ohio in the late 90s and focuses on the intertwined lives of two women - Elena Richardson (played by Reese) and Mia Warren (Kerri Washington).

When Elena rents the upstairs of her home to Mia and her teenage daughter, Pearl (Lexi Underwood) tensions arise between the two families.

Pearl strikes up a friendship with Elena's children - and specifically develops a crush on Elena's son, Trip (played by Jordan Elsass).

Elena ends up offering Mia a job as housekeeper in the Richardson home and Mia decides to accept - only to keep an eye on Pearl.

But, things become complicated when Mia begins offering advice to Elena's troubled daughter Izzy (Megan Stott). Based on Mia's advice, Izzy ends up in trouble.

Elena, angry at the situation, starts investigating Mia - delving into her past and making shocking discoveries. And when a fire breaks out in the Richardson home one year later - which firefighters put down to arson - suspicions arise.

The eight-part series will be directed by Lynn Shelton, with Rosemarie DeWitt (Linda McCullough), Joshua Jackson (Bill Richardson), Jade Pettyjohn (Lexie Richardson), and Gavin Lewis (Moody Richardson) making up the main cast.

And it was Reese herself who has behind the idea to turn the book into a telly adaptation.

The 43-year-old actress chose the book as her September 2017 book club pick and then took the idea to co-star Kerri Washington.

Together, they approached showrunner Liz Tigelaar and the rest is history.

We're so glad they did, see you on the sofa!

Three episodes of Little Fires Everywhere have already been released and will continue to air every Wednesday on Hulu.
