People Are Literally Subscribing To Disney+ So They Can Re-Watch 'Recess'

What a blast from the past.

Hey, remember Recess? The cartoon was a staple for pretty much all of us growing up.

Following the crazy adventures of popular school-kid T.J Detweiler and his pals (Vince LaSalle, Ashley Spinelli, Gretchen Grundler, Gus Griswald and Mikey Blumberg), the TV show looks at how the kids navigate day-to-day life at Third Street Elementary School in Arkansas - all while staying on the good side of King Bob, of course.

We don't know about you, but we spent hours hating on Randell Weems and wishing we were best friends with Spinelli...

And guess what? Now we can do it all over again, as the first three seasons are now available to watch in their entirety on Disney+. Yaaas.

Disney+ has three whole episodes of Recess to enjoy (

The new streaming platform also features both spin-off movies: Recess All Growed Down and Recess Taking the Fifth Grade, too. So, the childhood nostalgia really can be never-ending.

"Started rewatching Recess episodes on Disney +," one person wrote. "What a show, it's a shame they don't make cartoons that wholesome anymore."

While another chipped in: "On my second hour of watching Recess, and not to be dramatic but Disney+ is the best investment I've ever made".

A third wrote: "I might get Disney+ PURELY because it has Recess... that was my childhood right f*ckin there dont @ me".

If you fancy a Recess binge - like half the population - then the best part is that Disney+ currently has a free trial on.

The free trial only lasts a week, but we have confidence you can comfortably make it through all three series' in that time.

Be warned, though. You won't want to delete your account when it's all over.

If 90s nostalgia is a bit of you, then Disney+ has plenty more in that department. We're talking Lizzie McGuire, Hannah Montana and Kim Possible. Catch every single show and film they're offering here.

If you decide to keep your membership, it will cost a very reasonable £5.99 a month or £59.99 a year.

And, hey, if a pandemic isn't an excuse to binge watch kids TV we don't know what is!
