Giving presenters is one of the main Christmas traditions and one particular date gave his date a rather surprising - and raunchy - gift.
You cans see for yourself below:
Unlucky in love Paul, a 32-year-old PA from Reading, was matched with 35-year-old Alex, an IT worker from London. All the singletons were encouraged to bring secret Santa gifts for each other. During their date, Alex gave Paul a small package (no pun intended) to unwrap.
"Oh my God!" Paul said, laughing as he opened his gift from Alex. His gift was in fact an aubergine emoji-inspired Christmas tree ornament!
"I don't know if it's going to go on the family Christmas tree?" Paul said, holding the shiny purple ornament. "It's just a purple aubergine, it's all very innocent."
Paul gave Alex a rainbow themed mug with "I'm gay" printed on it in return.
This Christmas, Fred and his team returned to the heart of the British countryside to celebrate love. Singletons from across the UK enjoyed a Christmas dinner like no other as they search for the most perfect Christmas gift of all... love.
Paul and Alex were joined by 28-year-old redhead Holly from Epping, who went on a date with 32-year-old plasterer Shane from Brentwood - who worries that his job puts off the ladies.
Before the bells ring out for Christmastime, 27-year-old James already decided what his new year's resolution would be. This roofer from Dewsbury wanted to shake off his reputation as a player and intends to settle down. He was joined by Shauna, 26, who is also from Dewsbury.
There's still time to catch up on the extra festive edition of First Dates before the brand new series, the first to be set in their brand new Manchester-based restaurant, launches in January.
