When Pretty Little Liars ended three years ago, we were devastated. Seven long seasons of deceit, mystery, kidnapping and romance had finally drawn to a close.

We just weren't ready to say goodbye to Rosewood. And now, in very exciting news, cast member Lucy Hale - who played Aria Montgomery - has hinted that a Pretty Little Liars film could happen one day.

While chatting to Entertainment Tonight about a Pretty Little Liars virtual reunion - which is happening today, Friday 15th May via fundraising platform Cast4Good - Lucy revealed she would be keen to have another type of reunion.

The 30-year-old will join other cast members for the virtual Q&A, including Troian Bellisario (who played Spencer Hastings), Shay Mitchell (who starred as Emily Fields), Ashley Benson (Hanna Marin), Janel Parrish (Mona Vanderwaal), and Sasha Pieterse (Alison DiLaurentis) as well as creator, I. Marlene King.

"All of us are gonna be there I believe. We won't physically be in the same place, but since we wrapped, I haven't seen a lot of their faces. A lot has happened, and there's babies, and marriages, and I just can't wait to catch up," Lucy said.

But fans have been begging for a different type of reunion ever since the show wrapped in 2017. And now, Lucy has said she wouldn't rule it out, which sounds positive, right?!

"We're in a quarantine that we thought would last a couple weeks. Anything is possible at this point," she explained.

"I don't rule anything out, [but] I feel like we'd need a little more time to pass. I feel like we would get more out of it if we were, like, 10 years down the road."

In case you're unfamiliar, the American teen thriller was set in Rosewood, Pennsylvania and followed the lives of five high school students - Spencer, Ali, Aria, Hanna and Emily whose group descends into disarray when Ali goes missing.

After her disappearance, the friends begin receiving messages from 'A' who threatens, kidnaps and tortures them. Although they at first think it's Ali, the girls soon realise that the mystery runs waaaay deeper and the series turns into a whodunnit that spans across several mega gripping seasons.

And while we were gutted to see the end of PLL, we were pleased to get some answers - that show kept us on our toes for some time!

It's not the first time one of the PLL gals has spoken about a movie. In 2017, Troian Bellisario and Shay Mitchell claimed the gang would be keen to adapt the series into a film.

"We love working together, and I think any opportunity to be together we would take, but it very much depends on the circumstances of the story," Troian told The Hollywood Reporter.

Meanwhile, Shay added: "Sex and the City had two movies, so you never say never, right? It would absolutely be nice to see the PLLs again in five years, but I'll be catching up with them sooner than that."

Anyone else feel like a five-year film reunion sounds mega promising?! Come on guys, give the people what they want!
