Friends is full to the hilt of captivating characters, and Phoebe's Brother Frank Jr, played by Giovanni Ribisi, is distinct to say the very least.
His jittery disposition, excessive PDA with girlfriend 26 years his senior, and a passion for melting things are just some of the quirks which make Frank memorable. And there's the small matter of Phoebe giving birth to Frank's babies - not exactly conventional.

But unless you are super attentive, we guarantee that you didn't clock Frank's first appearance in Season 2, Episode 6, not episode 21 as previously thought.
However, Ribisi didn't appear as Frank, but "Condom Boy, who drops a rubber into Phoebe's guitar case when she is playing outside Central Perk, according to writer Betsy Borns. This is what she told Refinery 29:
He was an actor that was used by the executive producers before. They liked him, so they decided to use him more because they liked working with him. It was just one of those things.
So all of those people who thought that that was the first time Frank and Phoebe officially met are well and truly mistaken.
