Old People's Home For 4 Year Olds viewers were in bits over a heartbreaking confession from one of the little girl's on the show on Monday.
Little Scarlett Pollard opened up on camera about losing her mum at just three-years-old, explaining that her loss had left her with 'a heartache'. Her mum, Sally Pollard, sadly passed away from cancer a year and a half earlier.
Scarlett's dad, Tim, believed that the Channel 4 social experiment, which sees four-year-olds head into an old people's home, would help his daughter with the grieving process:
The young girl has formed a close friendship with 85-year-old Beryl Poulson, and Scarlett shared her emotions with her new pal on this week's episode of the docu-series.

"I've got something to tell you." declared Scarlett as she snuggled up to Beryl on an armchair. "I have a heartache."
"You have a heartache? Oh dear," replied Beryl.
Viewers flocked to Twitter sobbing over the emotional confession, with one person writing: "Watching Old People's Home For 4 Year Olds and little Scarlett saying she has a heartache when talking about her mum dying is heart breaking."

"OMG Scarlett saying she's got 'heartache'. She's 4!!! Poor girl," echoed a fourth heartbroken fan.
Since being involved with the Channel 4 series, Tim says his daughter has gained confidence and has started speaking in a more mature way.

"It's a joy to see, and that helps me too," explained Tim, who said the show has also been helping take his mind off his wife's heartbreaking death.
Old People's Home For 4 Year Olds airs on Channel 4 next Monday at 9pm.
