Normal People bosses have been forced to issue a takedown notice to one Pornhub user after they posted a compilation of all Connell and Marianne's sex scenes.

The supercut, which lasted 22 minutes in total, was made up of all the show's most racy moments.

Variety report that the video was shared on the adult website last week, and has since been taken down after the BBC issued a removal request.

Executive producer Ed Guiney told Variety: 'We're hugely disappointed that excerpts from the series of Normal People have been used in this way.

Bosses rightly called out the video cut for 'disrespecting' the actors (

"It's both a violation of copyright and more importantly, it's deeply disrespectful to the actors involved and to the wider creative team."

He added: "We have taken appropriate steps to require that the content be removed from the platform with immediate effect".

Pornhub Vice President Corey Price went on to reveal that the video had been removed as a result of the request.

"Pornhub is fully compliant with the law. We respect all copyright requests and as soon as we become aware of the existence of these types of videos on our site, we have them removed," he said.

The scenes make up 44 minutes of the series in total (

The scenes show actors Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar-Jones getting intimate as the 12-part series chronicles their love story as Connell and Marianne, from teens to young adults.

Those who watched the show will know there are is *lot* of sex (apparently it makes up 44 minutes of the series in total, which is pretty much a whole episode).

But - let's not forget - this was only a small part of the pair's romance.

Throughout the series, Connell and Marianne grappled with their differing class and social statuses, seeing each other with other people and falling back together.

They also face the all too relatable realisation that life is often going to pull them in different directions, and force them apart, whether they like it or not.
