Nigella Lawson's Cook, Eat, Repeat has once again gone viral - this time over the TV cook's musings on carrots.
In the final instalment of Nigella's BBC2 cooking show before Christmas, she turned her attention to how vegetables should be chopped, asserting that carrot rounds simply wouldn't do.
Nigella, 60, made the comment while knocking together her 'family favourite' dish - chicken with orzo.

"I have been quite open about my prejudices over the years, but let me just say again, that I find carrots cut into rounds infinitely depressing, so it's always batons for me," she said, as she added the veg to the pan after browning her chicken, and sprinkling on lemon zest, garlic and dried tarragon.
"Do you know what? Carrot rounds ARE depressing and it's taken @Nigella_Lawson to point out the bleeding obvious for me to realise," one person wrote after listening to Nigella's confession on the show.
Meanwhile, another penned: "CARROT ROUNDS *ARE* DEPRESSING THANK YOU @Nigella_Lawson I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE. I swear they taste worse too."

A third chipped in: "Nigella finding carrots cut into rounds infinitely depressing is a warm bath of truth. Batons or you're going on a list."
However, some didn't agree.
"Ooh #Nigella, beg to differ. Was married for 20 years to a 'carrot baton' man. ROUNDS TASTE BETTER!!!! Batons are too flimsy to taste of anything," one chimed.

"There's nothing wrong with a round carrot #CookEatRepeat," another defiantly penned.
As another quipped to Nigella directly: "Loved the show, got the book to add to all the others. But on batons v circular carrots, I must disagree."
Nigella's Cook, Eat, Repeat has been racking up quite a fan base in recent weeks.

It was also the topic of conversation on social media recently after a near five minute segment on how to butter toast - a TV moment which will also change our lives forever.
Nigella also took the internet by storm after pronouncing 'microwave' rather bizarrely.
"I still need a bit of milk - full fat - which I've warmed in the [micro-wa-vay]," she said.
Iconic. Nigella, you just keep doing you.
