Ever since You Season 2 ended on *that* cliffhanger, we've been desperate for the next instalment - and specifically, to find out exactly who Joe Goldberg was peeping at through the fence.
And now, author of the You books, Caroline Kepnes, has released a first look at book three - which means we've finally been treated to some juicy snippets about what's to come.
The book, titled You Love Me will be available to buy on 6th April 2021. And thanks to a handy description on the pre-order page, fans have been given an insight into what we can expect from Joe and his murderous habits.

It begins: "Joe Goldberg is back. And he's going to start a family - even if it kills him.
"Joe Goldberg is done with cities, done with the muck and the posers, done with Love. Now, he's saying hello to nature, to simple pleasures on a cozy island in the Pacific Northwest. For the first time in a long time, he can just breathe.
"He gets a job at the local library - he does know a thing or two about books - and that's where he meets her: Mary Kay DiMarco. Librarian. Joe won't meddle, he will not obsess. He'll win her the old fashioned way... by providing a shoulder to cry on, a helping hand.

So, hang on just a minute. Joe is done with Love?! But what about the baby?!
As fans will know, the last season of the gripping Netflix show saw Joe venture out of Los Angeles with pregnant girlfriend, Love to start a life together.

However, the happy ending is soon short lived after he is seen spying on what looks like his next victim. Slowly creeping behind his garden fence, Joe says he'll be seeing his new neighbour "soon" as viewers suddenly notice a woman reading a book on a sun lounger.
Following the scene, some fans were convinced that the woman next door was actually Joe's estranged mother. But recently, creator Sera Gamble explained there's "lots to come with the neighbour" - so perhaps this could be Mary Kaye?!

We'll have to wait and see, but one thing is for sure - we're more excited than ever for the next season...
