Netflix is spoiling us again with new drama Clickbait, an eight-episode social media thriller about a missing person case that goes viral.
With its young cast (we're looking at you Zoe Kazan, Betty Gabriel, Adrian Grenier and Phoenix Raei) and themes of cyberbullying and the power of social media, it already has strong echoes of 13 Reasons Why.
As all Netflix super fans will know, 13 Reasons Why gave us the fictional story of Hannah Baker, a young woman who takes her own life.
The series is built around recordings made by its female lead, discovered a fortnight after her death by fellow classmate Clay. Through snippets of audio, we - and Clay - learn how and why Hannah chose to die by suicide.
Exploring themes of identity, psychological pain and teen bullying, 13 Reasons Why portrayed suicide and sexual abuse in graphic detail, and generated its fair share of controversy.
Whatever your feelings about the show's depiction of teen suicide, it certainly became the driver for a lot of progressive conversations about addiction and depression.
Clickbait, co-created by Tony Ayres (the talent behind The Slap) and Christian White, will examine similar topics.
The Hollywood Reporter revealed the series will tell the story of Pia Brewer (Kazan, who appeared in The Deuce and The Big Sick) a young woman from Oakland, California, desperately searching for her missing brother in a case that explodes across the media.
Filmed in Melbourne, Australia, the series charts the develop ment of the investigation as it grips the nation.
Like 13 Reasons Why, Clickbait tracks a quest for answers, and examines our fragile identities, delving into the dangerous gap between our real-life and digital personas.
Heading up the case - and slap-bang in the eye of the media storm - is Detective Roshir Amin, played by Aussie actor Phoenix Raei.

Betty Gabriel (Get Out, Westworld) plays Sophie Brewer, an Oakland resident who struggles to hold it together as the media close in on her family.
Adrian Grenier (Entourage), meanwhile, plays Nick Brewer, a man whose picture-perfect life is thrown off course as he becomes entangled in the case.
Joining Ayres are executive producer, Heyday Television's David Heyman (Harry Potter, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) and Tom Winchester, while Brad Anderson (The Sinner) serves as lead director.
A premiere date is still to be revealed - but we sense a binge-watch in the making.
