With Halloween just around the corner, there's no better excuse to watch a scary movie, however you might want to avoid the new film aptly titled Halloween, which is reportedly so scary people are wetting themselves.

The reboot of the 1978 classic launched in US cinemas at the weekend, and has already left people too terrified to sleep.

Taking to Twitter to share their reviews, one fan tweeted: "Halloween was soooooo good, b*tch I almost p*ssed myself."

"We just saw the new Halloween and I nearly p*ssed myself like four times, that sh*t was spooky," another added.

A third viewer tweeted: "I deadass watched Halloween and p*ssed myself."

Halloween is the eleventh film in the series, following directly on from the 1978 film of the same name.

The movie sees Laurie Strode as she prepares to face Michael Myers 40-years from his killing spree on the night of Halloween.

Since its US release at the weekend, the horror has already raked in an impressive £59 million, making it the highest grossing horror film with a female lead as well as the biggest for any film with a female lead over 55 - which is pretty impressive work from Jamie Lee Curtis who reprised her role as Laurie.

In the film, Laurie is now a grandmother, having waited for a final confrontation with Michael ever since that fateful night.

When Michael finally returns to Haddonfield, Illinios, the pair come face to face once again.
