Reality TV fans seeking their next dating show fix should set their reminders for Faraway Bae, which looks like a dreamy cross between Love Is Blind and The Circle.

Both reality shows felt strangely timely during lockdown, when quarantine forced many of us to seek out connections virtually.

Now, Faraway Bae will feature a star from both Netflix series - all packaged in a brand-new format. You can watch the trailer here:

Intrigued? We thought so!

Luckily, there's not long to wait for the action to kick off, because the series drops on social media and video app TVCO on 9th August.

To whet your appetite, allow us to walk you through the concept.

The series is hosted by none other than Sasso, who won over fans of The Circle with his charismatic personality and flirty charm.

Faraway Bae will shine a spotlight on Love Is Blind star Diamond Jack as she looks for love from her sofa, getting to know six contestants virtually through challenges, games, and dates.

With all interactions conducted via video-chat, Diamond never leaves her home on her quest for love. On brand for 2020, no doubt.

Along the way, Sasso will assist Jack in her search, helping her seek out the partner of her dreams over the course of just one week.

There's audience involvement via TVCO's live-chat features too, which give viewers the power to select potential dates for Diamond and ask the burning questions on their minds.

Love Is Blind fans will know that Diamond broke things off with her fiancé Carlton Morton after a heated row in Mexico shortly before their planned wedding. Now, she's looking to move on - but with who?

Talking about the show, Diamond told Entertainment Weekly: "As everyone knows, I'm all in favour of unconventional dating experiences and I have seen first-hand that they can work."

She continued: "I can't wait for Joey and the live audience to help me find my soulmate."
