Super sleuths seeking their next true crime fix are in luck because World's Most Wanted drops on Netflix on Wednesday 5th August.

The docu-series follows five criminals altogether, charting their crimes and recounting the mind-boggling attempts to bring them to rights, from police raids to phone tapping.

One case is that of Samantha Lewthwaite, a British woman known as the 'White Widow' because her husband was a 7/7 bomber Germaine Lindsay.

Lewthwaite is accused of causing the deaths of more than 400 people, thanks to her involvement in Somalia-based Islamic militant group, al-Shabaab.

Another criminal mastermind under the microscope is Rwandan businessman Félicien Kabuga, who is thought to have bankrolled and been heavily involved in the Rwandan genocide.

Sicilian Mafia boss Matteo Messina Denaro comes under the spotlight, too.

The Italian criminal is nicknamed Diabolik, after an Italian comic book character of the same name.

In hiding since 1993, Denaro is believed to have killed 50 people and orchestrated many more murders. He remains a high profile figure in the drug trade.

Not forgetting the crimes of Mayo Zambada - full name Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada - a Mexican suspected drug lord and leader of the Sinaloa Cartel.

Lastly, there's Semion Mogilevich, a Ukrainian-born, Russian organised crime boss, who the EU and the US describe as the "boss of bosses".
