Netflix has released the trailer for its latest Christmas film, and it looks completely magical.

Christmas is the best time to get cosy, pour a mulled wine and watch cheesy Christmas films until you fall asleep.

And the trailer for The Holiday Calendar has enough tinsel, fairy lights, and Christmas cheer to make even Scrooge crack a smile.

The official synopsis says: "A struggling but talented photographer inherits an antique holiday advent calendar, the contents of which seem to predict the future.

"Will this magical calendar lead her to love this holiday season?"

Starring The Vampire Diaries' Kat Graham as Abby, the film sees her Grandad give her an advent calendar, which once belonged to her grandmother.

But before her Grandad can fully explain what the calendar is, Abby's childhood friend Quincy returns from his travels around the world - you can probably guess already that the best friend could mean a romance is on the cards for Abby.

Abby is a struggling photographer, whose day job is photographing children's visits to see Santa, and on the first day of advent, she realises that the calendar doesn't contain chocolate.

Instead, the calendar holds little replicas of everyday items, but each piece foreshadows a real-life arrival.

So, when Abby finds a mini pair of boots in the calendar, Quincy gives her a similar pair as a gift.

But after finding a Christmas tree toy, she nearly gets into an accident when a Christmas tree on top of an attractive guy's (Ethan Peck), car slides off into the street.

As you can probably guess, the film gets incredibly romantic, and will definitely leave you with a warm feeling inside.

The film will arrive on Netflix on 2nd November - a whole month before we even get to begin opening our own advent calendars, but we are here for it.

After the trailer was released, Twitter users couldn't hide their excitement.

One user wrote: "Haven't watched it yet but I know its my favourite movie."

Another added: "I will watch the hell out of this movie where Kat Graham falls in love with Ethan Peck thanks to a magically advent calendar."
