After a Christmas spent eating copious amounts of Quality Street, lounging about in our pyjamas, opening gifts and generally enjoying all things festive, Netflix has another gift up its sleeve for us, as You season two drops on Boxing Day.

Yes, that's right, we've been waiting for what seems like ages for the second season of You and it's definitely worth the wait.

This season, we'll get to discover what serial stalker and killer Joe has up his sleeve next - and it's not looking good.

And it's the perfect time to get caught up on the hit series, which received rave reviews when it dropped on Netflix last year, as we're still in the festive mood, with more than enough time on our hands to delve in.

The first season saw Penn Badgley's serial stalker Joe pursue Elizabeth Lail's Beck while working in a bookstore in New York.

This season, Joe will move to Los Angeles, looking for a fresh start after killing Beck and to get away from ex-girlfriend Candace after she came back unexpectedly at the end of the last season.

But this time, it looks like he'll obsess over aspiring chef and health guru Love Quinn, who is played by Victoria Pedretti.

In images from the show, Joe is seen watching Love as she shops, warning us of his true intentions.

In another still shared by You's Twitter account, we meet Love's friends, who include acupuncturist Gabe (Charlie Barnett), lifestyle blogger Sunrise (Melanie Field) and literary agent Lucy (Marielle Scott).

We wonder what's in store for them? If the last season is anything to go by, they're definitely not safe!

And in a further image, Joe chats to his new boss Calvin, manager of a trendy book store/cafe/grocery store where he now works.

Captioned: "Working at a bookstore with Joe... What can go wrong?", it's enough to get our hearts racing!

So, what's in store in this season? Netflix said: "When we last saw Joe his heart was tragically broken and his past just caught up with him in the form of long-lost ex-girlfriend Candace - a woman now hell-bent on teaching him a lesson.

"Season two finds him on the run from Candace - leaving New York City for his own personal hell: Los Angeles.

"He's fresh out of an intense relationship that ended in murder. The last thing he expects is to meet an incredible new woman but he's falling in love again - with a woman named Love (Victoria Pedretti).

We can't wait to dive right in...
