Netflix Drops Trailer For The Christmas Chronicles 2

Netflix has just dropped the trailer for The Christmas Chronicles 2 - and we are so excited.

So what will the sequel be about? Well, The Christmas Chronicles 2, will revisit Kate, who is now a disillusioned teenager, and her brother Teddy.

According to Netflix: "It's been two years since siblings Kate and Teddy Pierce saved Christmas, and a lot has changed. Kate, now a cynical teenager, is reluctantly spending Christmas in Cancun with her mom's new boyfriend and his son Jack (Jahzir Bruno). Unwilling to accept this new version of her family, Kate decides to run away.

"But when a mysterious, magical troublemaker named Belsnickel threatens to destroy the North Pole and end Christmas for good, Kate and Jack are unexpectedly pulled into a new adventure with Santa Claus."

Starring in the sequel will be Kurt Russell and real-life partner Goldie Hawn who will reprise their roles as Mr and Mrs Claus.

They'll be joined by Darby Camp and Judah Lewis once again as Kate and Teddy Pierce while Kimberly Williams Paisley will play their mother Claire.

Joining the cast for the second instalment will be Julian Dennison, who will play Belsnickel, a magical troublemaker from German folklore who wants to ruin Christmas. Supporting cast include Lamorne Morris, Oliver Hudson and Martin Roach.
