People Are Loving Netflix's Sex/Life After A Year Of No Action

The thirst is real...

Everyone's been bingeing Netflix's Sex/Life lately, and after a year locked up with a ban on casual romping, it's certainly not hard to see why...

The streamer's new eight-part show is inspired by BB Easton's novel 44 Chapters About 4 Men, and follows mum-of-two Billie (Sarah Shahi) who is frustrated with her mundane life, and bids to spice things up.

She's lusting over her former lover Brad Simon (Adam Demos), and reflecting on some of her most wild flings.

But when Billie's husband, Cooper (Mike Vogel) reads her diary, he makes a choice which throws their lives completely upside down.

He decides to use her wild-child past as inspiration for their time in the bedroom - learning from her experiences so he can best tick her boxes.

Oh, and then Brad re-enters Billie's life, bringing a whole lot more lust and drama in his wake.

As you can imagine, there are some pretty... err... fruity scenes. Take episode three, for example, when Brad and Cooper are both naked in the gym showers, and Cooper checks out his love rival's package.

Oh, Netflix, you do spoil us!

Reacting to the series, people had a lot of thoughts - mostly, damn, the thirst is real.

One person wrote: "Have I been watching Sex/Life all day? -yes Do I need some water for all this thirst I have now? -also yes".

Meanwhile, another said: "Sex/Life on Netflix...... holy sh*t".

"Watching Sex/Life on Netflix and wondering if it's porn," a third chimed in.

We don't blame Billie for lusting after this guy (

As a fourth quipped: 'This show Sex/Life is purely a horny mom show but it's not awful lmao".

"Watching the new show Sex/Life episode 3 location 20:00 and wondering if Netflix tracks how many times we rewind and watch again because... I'm on 4 times," a fellow viewer joked.

What more could we ask for after a year in lockdown, eh?
