A new Netflix show following an 11-year-old 'koala whisperer' will arrive on the streaming platform this month and we can't wait to get stuck in.

The show, named Izzy's Koala World follows Isabella Rose Bee - also known as Izzy Bee - as she rescues koala bears in North Queensland, alongside her family.

And the trailer couldn't be cuter. You can watch it below:

Helping adorable koala bears has always been Izzy's passion and along with her mum, Ali - who is the only vet on their home of Magnetic Island - and her dad, Tim, the family have made it their mission to rescue and rehabilitate any koala in need.

From deforestation to land development, koalas are constantly under threat, but Izzy, Ali and Tim are doing their bit to protect them from harm.

The trio take the koalas home and nurture them back to health before releasing them into the wild once again.

The Netflix show - which has been produced in partnership with The Dodo and Nomadica Films - follows the 11-year-old as she cares for the sick animals, forming a beautiful bond with the creatures along the way.

Speaking to TV Line, Izzy said: "The program shows what sort of problems koalas face in the wild. The show follows us taking care of orphan joeys, injured koalas and sick koalas.

"The whole point of what we do is always to release them back to their homes in the wild. When we get to release them it's sad for us but happy for them. The show tells how important it is to look after our environment, which is the koala's home.

"... It is a big responsibility though, so I have to be able to help mum and dad when they ask. So I've learnt I have to listen and do what I've been asked to do."
