A new movie is dropping on Netflix this month and it looks both dark *and* twisted.

In fact, if the trailer is anything to go by, we think it will be a pretty gory watch.

The disturbing film is set in a dystopian world where prisoners are housed in cells, stacked vertically one on top of the other.

There's a platform in the middle of each floor, in which food descends from higher floors to the lowest level.

As the platform moves down, floor by floor, the prisoners on the lower levels are left starving. Those at the top of the tower are able to feast on the spread - taking more than their fair share - while the prisoners on lower levels are left with nothing but meagre scraps.

To make matters worse, they only have two minutes to eat.

The trailer looks truly gory and appears to show the extents of what creators are calling "a twisted social allegory about mankind at its darkest and hungriest".

Things escalate when one prisoner decides to take matters into his own hands and let's just say things get absolutely terrifying. We're talking prisoners falling to their deaths and even eating each other.

The film will arrive on the streaming platform on Friday 20th March, just in time for a weekend watch.

The Spanish horror stars Ivan Massagué as prisoner Goreng, Zorion Eguileor as Trimagasi and Antonia San Juan as Imoguiri.

In other exciting Netflix news, You fans will love new thriller, The Occupant.

Just like Joe Goldberg in You, the film focuses on Javier Munoz, who begins stalking the family now living in his former home.

Javier was once a successful advertising executive, but has been forced to sell the apartment he and his family can no longer afford.

It will arrive on Netflix on Wednesday 25th March - mark these dates in your calendars, guys!
