True Crime Thriller 'Lost Girls' Among 55 New Netflix Originals Dropping This Month

If you've already stormed through everything you wanted to watch on Netflix then we've got good news for you.

The streaming platform is bringing a whopping 55 new original films and TV shows this month, and there's some absolute corkers in the mix.

The first one that caught our eye was gripping true crime mystery film Lost Girls, based on the real life unsolved case of the Long Island serial killer and starring Oscar nominee Amy Ryan, who has teamed up with documentary maker and director Liz Garbus (What Happened, Miss Simone?, A Dangerous Son).

The killer is estimated to have murdered at least 10 people (possibly as many as 20) and the film will centre specifically around the case of missing Shannan Gilbert, who disappeared shortly before four other women's bodies were found along Ocean Parkway in Suffolk County, US. This sounds so gripping.

Also dropping towards the end of this month is the third season of Ozark. The 10-part series, starring Jason Bateman, will be landing on the streaming platform and fans will finally get to find out what becomes of Marty and Wendy Byrde and their long-suffering family.

According to the show's producer Chris Mundy, the third season will follow Marty as his embroilment in crime descends to dangerous new levels. Let's not forget Season 2 saw Marty kill a pastor - how much worse can it get? We can't wait to find out...

While another much anticipated show landing on the platform is Guilty - an Indian-Hindi language film directed by Ruchi Narain which will seek to delve into the truth behind a college rape case.

Finally, we certainly wouldn't suggest any You fans miss The Occupant.

Starring Javier Gutiérrez, the mind-bending thrilled follows an unemployed advertising executive as he begins stalking the new family residing in his former home, and chillingly watches as his motives turn more and more sinister.
