Netflix has given us a first look at the official poster shots of its new series The Witcher - along with first looks of the three lead characters, two of whom are women.
The fantasy series, based on the best-selling series of books of the same name, is described by the streaming giant as 'an epic tale of fate and family.'
Netflix has revealed the first look of the series logo and 'teaser poster' as well as imagery of the cast in their full character outfits - and if the pictures are anything to go by, the fantasy drama will be a hit with Game of Thrones
The series will follow the story of Geralt of Rivia (Cavill), a solitary monster hunter struggling to find his place in a world in which 'people often prove more wicked than beasts.'
Geralt must learn to navigate the increasingly volatile Continent alongside a powerful sorceress and a young princess with a dangerous secret. The tagline for the series is: 'The worst monsters are the ones we create.'
Henry Cavill of Mission Impossible - Fallout and Justice League plays Geralt of Rivia, alongside Anya Cholatra playing Yennefer, and Freya Allan playing Ciri
