BREAKING: Netflix Is Down For Thousands Of Users Around The World

If you were planning to Netflix and chill tonight then you may want to change your plans, because the streaming site is currently suffering a global outage.

Not quite finished The Crown Season 3? Well you might just have to wait a little longer because people attempting to use Netflix across the world are reporting issues of not being able to see the site properly, instead receiving an error code.

The Netflix press office said it was trying to "fix the problem as fast as possible" but had no information on how many people across the world were affected, nor do they know if it's on particular devices.

Netflix tweeted: "For anyone having issues, we're sorry for the inconvenience and are working to fix this as quickly as possible."

You may be able to load the main page like you would normally, but when you try to watch a show, you may find it impossible whilst Netflix tries to sort out the problem.

With 148 million subscribers, there could be thousands, if not millions affected, but the actual number is not confirmed.

People have been tweeting about their struggles because of it and while many of the tweets are furious, some are hilarious.

One said: "Netflix is down, what the f am i supposed to do with myself now"

Another added: "Turns out Netflix is down but my immediate assumption was that I had watched so much Inside No. 9 in the last three days that they had cut me off and called the cops."

A third said: "I've heard on the news that Netflix is down? Well good thing I have off in 10 minutes and that I wanted to watch Sabrina. Nice. Just nice."

We just hope it returns by tonight or we have no clue what we'll do with our evening.
