He broke her heart in the cruelest way possible when he chose to recouple with new Islander Joanna Chimonides on Tuesday night's episode of Love Island, but it appears Michael Griffiths might be regretting his snap decision to dump Amber Gill if snippets from tonight's show are anything to go by.
Complimenting his former love interest during a private chat in the garden, Michael tells her: "I know you've got a heart of gold, you've just got a strange way of showing it sometimes."
"And yeah, you do make me laugh," he added.
Not one to shy away from a compliment, Amber replied: "Yeah I know that - I know that for sure."
Cue flirty giggles.
Ever since his stint in Casa Amor, Michael has been complaining that he couldn't be himself around the 21-year-old-bombshell, admitting he often overlooked things he wouldn't have usually done.

And in a twist that shook the villa to its core, he left her devastated when he chose to couple up with new girl Joanna, 22, instead.
A decision which didn't go down lightly with both fellow islanders and fans alike, Michael felt the wrath most furiously from Anna who ordered him to "answer [her] question" after fighting with the Islander for turning his back on her friend, even though she herself had just ditched Jordan for Ovie.

One viewer tweeted support for Amber, saying: "I'M IN TEARS AMBER SWEETIE YOU DESERVED SO MUCH BETTER."
Another remarked: "Michael is so sick, he's perpetuating the idea that Amber was SO repressing that you couldn't be yourself and Joanna was your saviour. What a D******D."
Michael and Amber's cheeky flirt didn't go unnoticed by Joanna, who was spotted quietly seething in the corner as she glares over at the pair from the firepit.
