Michael Griffiths Confesses Feeling For Amber Gill In 'Love Island' In Shock U-Turn

But in a move that no one saw coming, Michael will confess his feelings for Amber in tonight's show. YOU WHAT?

In the upcoming episode, the Liverpudlian will stun the boys when he tells them his true feelings. During a chat with Curtis, Jordan and Ovie, Michael explains that Amber's date with Greg O'Shea, the new boy who picked her for a date at the end of last night's episode, left him feeling jealous.

Just days earlier, the 21-year-old beautician had spilled her heart out to Michael, letting him know she still had feelings for him, but on the same night, Michael cried over Joanna Chimonides, who he had been coupled up with since Casa Amor, leaving the villa.

Following that, Michael pulled Amber for a chat to let her know he didn't reciprocate her feelings. Keen to not leave any doubt in Amber's mind, he told her he was still in the same place as before, adding: "I just wanted to be 100 per cent clear [with you]."

To add to the confusion, Michael had been pretty certain that he was going to pursue things with Joanna on the outside, despite not leaving with her when she was voted out by her fellow Islanders.

Amber and Michael started their relationship in the first few weeks of the series, when feelings began to develop from a friendship. They remained one of the villa's strongest couples, before the girls were shipped off to Casa Amor, and Michael met Joanna.

At the recoupling, Michael chose Joanna, leaving Amber single.

No one can be sure what's caused Michael's U-turn on Amber. Has he realised in jealousy? Were the feelings there all along? Does he simply have his eye on the prize?
