Mary Berry is bringing out a new BBC cooking show and it sounds like a big, warm hug.
The nation's much-loved cook and former Great British Bake Off judge is returning to our screens for a six-part series on comfort food.
Served up on BBC Two, Mary Berry's Simple Comforts will follow the 85-year-old cook as she explores "fuss-free recipes that can warm the cockles and lift the spirits".

Does this not sound like exactly the kind of comforting TV we need at this precise moment?
"Across the six episodes, Mary braves the elements to discover, and cook, the most heart-warming dishes on offer in the UK and abroad," says the BBC.
"Taking inspiration from the people she meets and the food she tastes along the way, Mary brings us simple to cook dishes that will brighten up even the dullest of days."

While there's no word on the exact recipes Mary will be whipping up, we're expecting some of her favourite comfort cooks to make an appearance, such as beef and ale stew, Indian lamb dhansak, fish pie or Mary's meanzane pasta bake.
What's more, a recipe book to accompany the series, of the same name, will be published by BBC Books. Until then, you can get hold of Mary Berry's Baking Bible, which - as you might guess - is a definitive collection of the queen of cakes best bakes.
Catherine Catton, BBC Head of Commissioning, says: "Now, more than ever, home cooking is central to daily life and Mary Berry's take on comfort food is exactly what we all need."
Karen Ross, Managing Director of Sidney Street who produced the show, says: "Mary Berry is still the Queen of home cooking. There is no one else we want to turn to when we are looking for something comforting to cook at the end of a very long day.

"This series is a celebration of all those wonderful just-sink-into dishes, all brought alive by Mary's incredible skill, humour and her joy of cooking!"
There's no word on an exact release date for Mary Berry's Simple Comforts yet, but we'll keep you posted.
