Martin Lewis Fans Spot 'Showy Off' Item During 'This Morning' Appearance

Martin Lewis is proving to be everyone's saviour in this troubling and stressful time, proving tips on how to protect yourself financially amid the coronavirus pandemic.

And while we're very appreciative of all that - really, we are - we couldn't help but chuckle at his backdrop as he spoke on This Morning on Thursday.

Yep, as he chatted to the TV studio via webcam link, the Money Saving Expert's OBE could be seen taking pride of place behind him.

Taking to social media after noticing it in the background, one Twitter wrote:"Hey @MartinSLewis you need to make space next to your OBE for your next medal. Absolutely BLOODY (your word) sterling work on behalf of the British Public during this pandemic."

And in reply, Martin acknowledged that he was flaunting the award, rather.

He wrote: "Tee hee - I asked Mrs. MSE if I should take it down, as its a bit showy off. She said keep it up and be proud.

"Of course the fact the free financial education text book is face front, is purely coincidental ps you can download it here."

LOL.

Martin won his OBE back in 2014 for services to consumer rights and charitable services.

While another added: "OBE totally deserved; well done & huge congratulations!".

"SIR Martin Lewis OBE....after all the work you've done, you deserve it more than many, many others who have had the honour bestowed upon them.Best wishes and please carry on," a third chipped in.
