The dad of Married At First Sight star, Jack, has been forced to make a public apology on social media after he was caught looking less than impressed with his son's new bride's looks on camera.
Viewers were horrified as dad Mark, a buyer on Dickinson's Real Deal, muttered to his wife about how the marriage won't last.

Viewers of the show were vocal in their disapproval of his comments and one viewer summed up opinion by calling him a "class a t**t".
Posting on Twitter, the little-liked father of the groom wrote: "In response to both the good & bad comments made about this week's #MarriedAtFirstSight, here's my statement:
"Anyone that knows me understands and appreciates my moral code. I am a happy, loyal and trustworthy individual that wants nothing more than to watch my friends, family & those alike to succeed.
"I made comments that, in hindsight, can be interpreted the wrong way and may have led to the beautiful young lady that married my son to be offended.

"I love and appreciate people of all shapes, sizes, ethnicities and sexual orientations and hope 5 minutes of TV (that had been condenses and cut down from 3/4 months of footage) don't leave people to believe otherwise."
The father-of-the-groom, who is also a regular on ITV's Dickinson's Real Deal was caught on camera looking unimpressed and berating his new daughter-in-law to his wife.
Viewers were outraged with his misogynistic comments about bride Verity's looks. But it was when he told the cameras: "I hope she is quite slim, athletic, well-spoken... Hopefully a fun-loving girl," that viewers really hit the roof.

After the ceremony, the 'wheeler dealer' looked unimpressed as he ranted to his wife about how the marriage won't last - claiming that he "knows his son".
His wife seemed to feel the same way as viewers and clapped back: "Not everything is based on looks. I married you."

Mark later explained to the camera: "What Jack normally goes for, it's very, very different. It's different to what I am used to for my son."
One outraged viewer tweeted: "Can't stand Jack's dad, how shallow can you be! Can't believe all he cares about is looks."
Another added: "His dad is an absolute k***! Verity could do a thousand times better than Jack in terms of looks! She's far too good for him!"
While one tweeted: "Jack's dad on #mafs, what a class a #t**t. Verity is stunning"
