Married At First Sight Australia Reunion Dinner Looks Explosive

If you're like us, you've become utterly obsessed with Married At First Sight Australia, with the Aussie edition of the extreme dating show jam-packed with far more drama, fights, shocks and spills than our own home-grown version.

The 2019 season of MAFS is airing in the UK right now on E4, and people are totally hooked, tuning in every week night to catch up on all the goings on.

But even half way through the season, many of us UK viewers are already fascinated to find out whether any of the happy couples have gone the distance.

And it seems we're going to be given a juicy update, as an explosive reunion trailer has revealed there have been yet more twists and turns off-screen.

Yep, hitting Aussie tellies tonight, 2019 favourites Elizabeth, Mike, Jessika, Innes and Cyrell come together with some of the couples of Australia's more recent 2020 series for a catch-up with experts John Aiken and Mel Schilling about where they were now.

The first look at the reunion sees the two casts come together and sit down in front of the screen - which can only mean one thing... Dramaaaa.

While details are sparse about what exactly goes down, the trailer seemingly hints at a new flirtation blossoming between Mike Gunner and Jessika Power. Oooh er!

As the pair sit down, Mike tells Jessika she "smells nice" before asking how she was getting on, all while looking at her intently.

Fans will remember that Mike was initially matched with Heidi Latcham on the 2019 series of the show, and the pair were a solid couple for much of the series.

However, they were later beset by arguments, and while they chose to stay married at the end of the process, the pair split soon afterwards.

Elsewhere, we will all remember Jessika from MAFS, who was famously matched with Mick Gould. In upcoming episodes of the series, we're set to see her lose interest in her man, as newbie Dan Webb rears his head - and ultimately ditching Mick for Dan.

Unsurprisingly, Dan and Jessika also don't work out - leaving both Mick and Jessika single and evidently looking to mingle.

Not everyone is too impressed with this update, with Cyrell Paule watching on at the pair disapprovingly in the trailer.

The reunion special is airing on Australia's Nine Network tonight, with a UK airdate yet to be confirmed.

Married At First Sight Australia really does have dramz at every turn. We love to see it!
