First Dates viewers were left inspired by a man with terminal cancer, who opened up on his devastating diagnosis with an uplifting attitude during last night's episode.
Julian Fiano, 29, was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour last year, which he says 'should have killed him by now'.
The singleton was paired with property consultant Becca Wilson who asked Julian why he gave up working as a football coach.
This prompted Julian to explain how to his date how he was tragically diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour, and was only given 12 months to live.

Julian told Becca: "I've not worked for the last year. I love doing it, it's a good job teaching kids and you're guiding them through life as well.
"I became ill last year, I got diagnosed with cancer. I'll be honest with you, they gave me 12 months to live. This was last year. Even though certain things happen there's no point giving up.
"Just because they said its terminal doesn't mean... you know, you go on.

"I'm still going strong you know what I mean, so with the illness it kind of changes everything. To me, I want to enjoy life now. I don't want to waste time worrying about where I'm going in the future because my future is different, my future is not guaranteed.
"I don't hide the fact that I'm ill from any girl. I'm not expecting to find a wife, I go with the flow now, I don't force things or rush things."
Becca, who was slightly surprised by the news, praised her date and told him that he should be really proud of himself.

Viewers took to Twitter to praise Julian for his bravery. One viewer wrote: "This guy on #FirstDates wow... is dealing with his cancer in a way that we'd all hope to deal with it .... brave!"
Another added: "Julian what an inspiration."
The Brain Tumour Charity's official Twitter account also praised Julian's positive attitude.

Speaking about the date, Becca said: "I had no idea of Julian's ill health until the cameras were rolling. When he told me, my whole tummy did a back-flip.
"I was gutted for him. I've had bad experiences with family members who've had cancer, and my first thought was: I hate this cruel disease. I hate what it does to people, and I hate what it's doing to you."
In September Lauren Mahon, founder of Girl vs Cancer and co-host of You, Me, and the Big C also appeared on the show but was friend-zoned during the final interview.

Lauren, 33, opened up to her date Pat, 34, and revealed how she was going through early-onset menopause since being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016.
It seemed that the pair were getting on very well as they shared innuendos about phallic shaped desserts and cream, but it ended in tears when Pat described her as 'more of a friend'.
Lauren broke down in private and told cameras she is "always the f*cking friend".
