Two episodes in, and season five of Luther is already providing us with plenty of dramatic twists and turns.
And after Wednesday night's impressive instalment, fans are predicting another shock twist in the BBC drama that could truly change everything for DCI Luther (Idris Elba).

At the end of episode one, lovable serial killer Alice Morgan (Ruth Wilson) made her return to the show after she was presumed dead at the start of series four.
A number of fans have been desperate for Alice and Luther to be more than just friends throughout the show's course, but it was finally revealed in flashback scenes that the pair already had a romance, albeit short lived.
The throwback scenes aired in the latest series have actually confirmed that the pair had slept together before Luther headed back to London for work.

Shortly after, it was presumed that Alice had been killed-off by another female serial killer, but we now know that this was not the case.
Fans now believe that Luther could have fathered a child with Alice after their night together - this may also explain why she vanished for so long from the series.
Viewers have taken to social media to speculate over a potential baby between the pair.
"Anyone else think Alice has had a baby? #Luther," questioned one fan of the show.

Echoing the above idea, another tweeted: "Can't be only me who thinks Alice is going to be pregnant with his baby? #Luther."
"Calling it now Alice has had Luther's baby. What a beautiful f*cked up child that would be," declared somebody else.
While a fourth posted: "Imagine if Alice has had Luther's baby in the time she was awol though."

Alice and Luther first crossed paths after her whole family was found murdered in their home.
The police detective worked out - but couldn't prove - that it was Alice who had killed her family, and the pair became close in an arguably twisted friendship.
The next episode of Luther airs tonight on BBC One at 9pm, with the final episode airing tomorrow at the same time.
