Netflix Reveals Sneak Peek At Lucifer Season 5 Part 2

Lucifer fans, take note. Netflix has just dropped a glimpse at season 5 part 2. Alright... a very short glimpse, but a glimpse nonetheless.

Dropping a Thanksgiving treat for all the show's fans the streaming platform gave fans a very quick look at the second half of Lucifer season five, hidden within a Chloe Decker tribute.

Those familiar with the show will know that Decker (played by Lauren German) is a detective and Lucifer's lover.

Sharing a tweet mostly made up of archive footage of Detective Decker in action, Netflix wrote: "Thankful for Chloe Decker today and every day, so we made a fancam to show how much we stan."

But it was the end of the 50 second clip that really got people talking, as we saw the clip flick forward to season five part two, picking up straight after Lucifer (Tom Ellis) and Amenadiel (DB Woodside)'s feud with his twin brother Michael (Ellis) and Maze (Lesley-Anne Brandt) with intercepted by The Almighty (Dennis Haysbert).

The clip shows glass from the broken window which Lucifer smashed through falling to the floor, as a perplexed Chloe asks: "Have you seen Lucifer?"

The first half of season 5 was an absolute hit with Lucifans - it even shattered the previous record held by The Umbrella Academy in becoming the biggest TV opening debut on Netflix since the introduction of the top 10 feature.

In case you needed a reminder, the show follows Lucifer Morningstar (aka the devil) as he moves from the depths of hell to upmarket Los Angeles, in the hope of a change of scene.

Lucifer starts off running a nightclub before eventually becoming an LAPD consultant.

*Anyway, spoiler alert* the final few episodes of season 5 built up some tense storylines after Lucifer was shot and his love interest Chloe was kidnapped.

This all happened as Ella Lopez (Aimee Garcia) found out her new boyfriend was not all he seemed. Well actually, he was really a serial killer....and we thought we had bad taste in men.

We don't yet have a release date for the second instalment of part five, but it's being tipped for the new year.
