Love on the Spectrum is returning to our screens for a second season next month - and we couldn't be more excited.

Ahead of its release, Netflix shared a heartwarming trailer for the upcoming instalment, and we're delighted to see Michael, dinosaur-loving Mark and engaged couple Jimmy and Sharnae are returning to the show.

Not only that but there are four-new faces joining the show; Kassandra, Jayden, Ronan and Teo, all looking to find love.

The uplifting five-part series, which aired already on ABC Australia, follows a group of young adults with autism as they try to find the love of their lives.

Helping them navigate the world of dating is relationship expert Jodi Rogers who helps them learn how to approach dating scenarios, what to do on a date, how to ask someone out and the proper etiquette.

The series follows the participant's journey to love as well as each person's life, how their autism affects them, and what they're looking for in a potential partner.

The new trailer promises it's going to be a real tear-jerker, as the show features singles who date both neurodiverse and neurotypical partners, while also exploring heterosexuality, bisexuality and pansexuality.

But most of all, viewers will see two of its stars finally get hitched.

In fact, some fans even said that the short clip alone left them "crying" as they heard one of the show's stars say their vows.

One penned: "omg those vows made me cry".

"I'm not crying [crying emoji]," another commented underneath the trailer.

"I'm so excited!!" another fan simply penned.

After all the high-drama of this year's Love Island, this is exactly what the doctor ordered.
