Love Island's Alex Miller Asks Alexandra Cane Out On A Date

In the year that everyone had the same names in the Love Island villa, Alex Miller and Alexandra Cane both failed to find love on the show. Alex was pied off by Megan Barton-Hanson for Wes Nelson, and Alexandra was dumped twice by Doctor Alex George (still not over it).

But now that the 2018 series has all come to an end, it looks like things could be hotting up between Alex M. and Alexandra, despite the pair never meeting in the villa.

Alex has finally asked Alexandra on a date while at a showbiz bash following the Love Island finale.

He told Sun Online: "She's unbelievable, obviously. I thought that when she was in there, but what an absolute stunner."

When questioned whether if they'd ever be more than just friends, Alex added: "I literally met her 5 minutes ago, you need to give me a chance to take her out on a date."

Alexandra played it a little cool though, replying: "It's going to take a bit of grafting.

"I don't want to put too much pressure on the situation. I'm known for doing that, It's going to have to come from you, I'm afraid."

Mr Specsavers then bit the bullet and asked her out, with the make-up artist giving him a 'maybe', and telling him that he'd have to try his luck by sliding into her DMs first.

Alexandra first admitted to fancying a bit of the 28-year-old Essex lad during her Aftersun appearance, while being questioned by Caroline Flack.

"If you came in at an earlier stage do you think there would have been any guys you might have clicked with?" she asked.

Alexandra replied: "Most definitely, just before I came in I was looking at Specsavers' Alex..."

Following Alexandra's revelation, Alex immediately followed her on Instagram before telling the Sun Online just how much he'd like to take her out.

He told the publication: "Wow I'm really flattered that Alexandra fancies me. She's s bit of a sort too.

"I really got to like her on the show. Who knows what might happen at the wrap party - but if we did go out unlike my old mate Dr Alex I'd treat Alexandra like a lady.

"I'll show her how a real man treats a lady."
