First Full ‘Winter Love Island’ Trailer Gives First Look At New South Africa Villa

This is not a drill. ITV has officially dropped the first trailer for Winter Love Island - and there's a sneak peak at the incredible new villa.

The popular dating show was teased for the first time with a short clip airing in the ad break for X Factor: Celebrity last weekend.

But now the first proper trailer has dropped, featuring Iain Stirling's infamous voice over and a brief appearance from the show's front woman, Caroline Flack.

ITV2 shared the clip today on its social channels, teasing: "Winter, you're just not our type. It's time to couple up with something hotter! Returns this January #LoveIsland #WinterIsDumped."

Eeeeek.

In the trailer, lovably sarcastic Iain could be heard saying: "Oh winter, what is your problem? Every year you make it so Baltic our toes go numb and we want to hide under our duvets.

"You're just rain, sleet, drizzle, repeat. You happily make us wear layers and layers of clothes and then watch us trudge through our daily lives.

"Thanks to you, we are stuck indoors. Well, guess what winter? You can take your frostbite and stick it where the sun don't shine."

The camera then pans to reveal a huge stretching pool against a stunning leafy backdrop, with Cape Town's Table Mountain visible in the background.

Naturally, the villa was full of perfectly chiselled hotties in their swimwear, too. Would we expect anything less?

"This year our heads have been turned. We'll be covering ourselves in glitter and dancing around the fire pit and there's nothing you can do about it," Iain continues, as Cazza arrives on screen and does her famous slo-mo strut into the villa.

"Sorry winter, you're just not our type," she then sassily declares.

It's mere months since the ITV dating show last took over our lives - but before we've had time to get over Michael Griffiths' snakey-ness and Maura Higgins' incessant fanny flutters, a whole new bunch of islanders are set to hit our screens.

While this year's cohort are yet to be revealed, the show is set to start just after New Year, so you can bet we'll be hearing from them very soon.

We can't wait.
