Love Island returns to screens tonight, and it looks as if one of our newly formed couples is already on the rocks.

Yep, after last night's cliffhanger, a spoiler from tonight's show has teased that Sharon and Hugo end up in a couple - but it looks like the PE teacher's eyes are already wandering.

Having noticed that Hugo doesn't appear to be giving her much attention, Sharon decides to take him for a chat.

Ahead of the conversation with Hugo, Sharon tells Kaz: "I am annoyed that we're in a couple, we share a bed together and you've [Hugo] not had a conversation with me since."

Later that day, Sharon lays her cards on the table with Hugo, and things turn a little sour.

Speaking on the day beds, Sharon says: "I knew from the word go that I wasn't your type and that's perfectly fine.

"What annoyed me is I feel like you avoid me and you don't talk to me."

A flustered Hugo replies: "I'm not being funny but there hasn't really been the time.

"I'm definitely sorry for making you feel that I was giving you the cold shoulder. I definitely wasn't avoiding you and I don't want you to feel like that."

But as Sharon distances herself from Hugo, it looks like he might have his eyes on somebody else, anyway.

Who will Hugo - aka the 'new Dr Alex' - try to pursue now that romance is off the cards with civil servant Sharon?

That's not the only drama from tonight's episode, as it also sees one of our couples head on their first date.

As the famous Love Island text arrives on Toby's phone, he realises he's going to be able to take Kaz out for some romance outside of the villa.

The pair share some football banter, and a little bit of flirting. But will things go any further?

Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
