Winter Love Island has almost come to an end, and it's been a corker of a series. But there's one emotional episode we've all been waiting for: meet the parents.

Yep, by this point the islanders are all loved up - but they still need to get that all important approval from their other halves' family before heading back to the real world.

And get the tissues ready, because ITV has now confirmed to Tyla that tonight is the night.

The emotional episode comes after all the final couples were sent on their extravagant final dates this week. With the final on Sunday, the islanders are all as loved up as can be...

Demi and Luke M are the only couple who are yet to put a label on their relationship, Ched and Jess have said they are "exclusive" and the rest of the couples are boyfriend and girlfriend

So, naturally, it's time for them to meet the other's nearest and dearest.

It's gonna be SO EMOSH.

In previous years, this episode has treated us to some absolute corkers, from Dani Dyer's granddad 'Bruv' to Anton Danyluk's awkward encounter with Belle's dad, Game Of Thrones star Tamar Hassan.

And we literally can't wait to see what this year's has in store.

While the family arrivals are sure to have us sobbing, the joy will be short-lived from one couple, who will still be dumped from the island ahead of the final.

Last night, viewers were given the chance to vote for their favourite couple, meaning one pair will just miss out on the big day, leaving just 48 hours before the end.

The final is on Sunday, February 23rd at 9pm, and the winning couple will bag a cash prize of £50,000 .

If it works like previous years, they will then be asked if they want to split of steal the cash.

It's going to be a tense one!

Love Island returns to ITV2 tonight at 9pm.
